Our purpose is to serve all the Baltimore County Retired School Employees.
- Membership is open to any retired BCPS employee
- Currently we have over 1,500 members
- What we do:
- Support the Maryland Retired School Personnel Association monitoring bills in the legislature concerning BCPS retiree’s pensions and bills that affect senior citizens
- Stay in contact with the BCPS Benefits Office and pass relevant information along to our members
- Provide numerous college/vocational scholarships to BCPS seniors
- Donate $1,000 to one elementary and one middle school library annually
- Support other charities such as Toys for Tots, Alzheimer’s Association, Cancer Associations, Food bank operated by the Towson churches
- Take day trips and hold affordable social activities for our members
